From working with small groups of under-provided women, ASF stepped up, to help larger sections of women who were financially, severely challenged. We studied their traditional livelihood stream and provided the scaffolding required for them to work in their area of knowledge and competence. They needed to contemporize their traditional ways.

We educated them on the benefits of insuring their livestock, saving their earnings in a bank, life and health insurance for themselves, sending their children to school and so on.

Through these initiatives, we ensure women become financially independent, are able to support their dependents, educate their girl children and gradually rise from the margins to mainstream. The beneficiaries are continuously monitored to ensure ongoing sustenance for themselves and their livelihood.
